Questions & Answers
Which rides can I ride?
The carousels have different height restrictions for guests' safety. The height restrictions are set by the manufacturer and/or the Tivoli Authority, and these follow everywhere. Lund's Tivoli has Norway's widest selection of carousels and amusement park experiences, here there is something for both young and old. Everything from children's carousels for the little ones, fun houses, car tracks and to hefty carousels for mostly daring.
Are there any height restrictions?
We have height restrictions on all our carousels due to safety considerations. These restrictions are set by the manufacturer. Information about all height restrictions can be found on all our carousels.
Are there any weight restrictions?
Some of the carousels have a safety system that must be securely fastened for the carousel to start. Certain body shapes may be such that we have to refuse you to drive. It could be that you are either too small, too tall, or too big for the safety bar. We think this is just as sad as you are, but safety must come first.
Can I take pictures on board a carousel?
For the safety of you, your fellow passengers and the guests on the ground, loose objects are strictly forbidden on board the carousels.
Do you accept companion certificates?
We accept companion certificates issued by the municipality on almost all carousels, but not those where the guests are fully buckled up and the companion has no impact on safety. It is indicated on the carousel's altimeter whether you can use a companion certificate. The user then pays the normal price, and the companion drives for free.
Do I have to pay for both adults and children?
Yes. Every person must have their own ticket to ride, including both adults and children. Each ride requires one ticket per person, per ride. There are no free rides, and all guests must have a valid ticket to participate.
How long are the tickets valid?
All tickets are valid until January 3, 2027
